Those April showers came through! I shot this look at the Michigan State University Horticulture Garden, when mother nature got confused and blessed Mid-Michigan with a week full of 80 degree days 🙂 I think I do an okay job at mixing up my style nowadays… but I wasn’t always so adventurous. Once my mom started letting me dress myself I opted for a more ‘tomboyish’ look…lots of denim (still own lots of denim), no pink, no purple..and a very limited dress selection – most if not all were jean dresses that were usually paired with old navy combat boots in various colors and prints, and SEVERAL pairs of gauchos. That started to change in college, and now I’m fully converted into trying new things – like florals! (and now my favorite color is purple!) I picked up my sister’s graduation dress at Charlotte Russe a little while ago and spotted this coord set on the wall. Despite hesitations about baring some midriff – I really like it! The shorts aren’t too short, and the top allows you to adjust the amount of cleavage you want the world to see. I’m on a complete floral kick right now. All the florals. My online carts are full of fun stuff. If you’d like to shop some of the items I’ve been browsing scroll all the way down!
